Multimedia Specialist I
Job Description
The Multimedia Specialist I is responsible for the preparation of design, layout, and artwork in the Marketing, Communications, and Research Division. This is a state service position. Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: • Collaborating with team members and internal stakeholders to understand project goals, target audiences, and messaging needs. • Designing and producing high-quality visual content such as graphics, images, display ads, social posts, videos, and reels that effectively engages audiences across key industries. • Preparing layouts, illustrations, and artwork for both printed and digital materials while maintaining brand consistency. • Revising and refining creative assets based on feedback to achieve the best possible outcome. • Preparing visual content for final production and ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and meet technical specifications. • Supporting photography needs using digital equipment and assisting with basic video editing and media preparation. • Using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva to develop visually compelling assets that support MDA’s mission of promoting business and opportunity in Mississippi.
