Job Description
BRANDON, Miss. – The Brandon Main Street Association is currently accepting applications for
the position of Executive Director.
The Executive Director will be responsible for implementing policies and procedures, program

development, financial management, marketing, event planning and fostering strong relationships with city and county officials, local business leaders and residents. Strong economic and business development background is required.
Applicants should have an education and/or experience in one or more of the following
areas: Commercial district management, economics, finance, public relations, planning, business administration, public administration, retailing, volunteer or non-profit administration,
architecture and historic preservation.
Brandon Main Street Association is a local volunteer led 501(c)(3) non-profit organization in
Brandon, Mississippi that is committed to preserving and enhancing our historic downtown and neighborhood commercial districts at the heart of our community. The organization is focused on enhancement to the Brandon community by creating a sense of place, community and pride that reflects the city’s values and history, while embracing a prosperous and sustainable future.
